The Australasian Super X in its third year is over once again and hasn’t lived up to the same standard that’s made it great up until now. The promise of elite US riders was delivered in part with the appearance of Kevin Windham in rounds 2,3 and 4. However, like the previous years promise of James Stewart, Ryan Villopoto and Davy Milllsaps did not show up.
What happened to Chad Reed? One of the main draw cards to increase the popularity of the sport in Australia would rather spend time preparing for the US AMA Supercross series. But I guess you’d know if you’d ever come face to face with Chad in one of his autograph sessions just how distant he is from the rest of us. Yeah, he’s earned it and he is one of the greatest riders on two wheels but without the fans and people that support the sport whats left?
It would have been nice
