Team Red Bull Honda rider Davi Millsaps has won his second main event of the season. Monster energy kawasaki’s Timmy Ferry finished second, his best place of the 2008 season. Kevin Windham continues to prove he is a serious contender by placing third in the main event.
What happened to Chad Reed you ask?
Reed crashed heavily in practice and was taken to hospital and it is reported that he was coughing up blood after the crash. Reed returned to the track a few hours later and managed twelth place in the main, to hold a 6 point lead over Kevin Windham.
They say championships are won on your bad days, so I guess Chad Reed is very determined to take out the championship.
In the 250 lites east coast championship Ryan Villipoto won the main comfortably narrowing the points gap to Trey Carnard who started the season strong but finished in tenth place.
Second went to Ryan Morais, with Branden Jesseman finishing third. Only one round remains in the series at St. Louis.
